Holidays are just not an option for me now. So I just have to be content with day trips and a very occasional weekend with family or friends.
Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door – And also a Studland to ‘Old Harry Rocks’ walk at the start of the ‘Jurassic Coast’.
Brighton – A walk around the regency architecture and down by the pier/seafront too.
Portsmouth – Not the dockyard with HMS Victory. But a walk down memory lane for Mr G from Portsmouth Harbour Rail Station to Portsmouth & Southsea Rail Station.
Chichester – As I have recently been approved for disabled bus passes, I am going to try them out locally on the (Number 70) bus that leaves from the end of our road.
Worthing – A bus ride from Midhurst and an unbelievable 2/3 scale Sistine Chapel ceiling reproduction is on route in Goring. See it on this panoramic 360 degrees webpage here;
